Growing up in Northern New Mexico, he learned to fly fish alongside his father on the legendary San Juan River, where long days on the water shaped a lifelong passion for the sport. Summers spent around the Duluth area of Minnesota further deepened his love for fishing and exploring lakes and rivers. Now living in Monument, CO, Evan spends his time exploring the incredible variety of waters the state has to offer. His favorite pursuit is chasing “hogs,” the big trout every angler dreams about, and he brings that same excitement to every trip he guides. As a guide, Evan focuses on creating authentic Colorado fly fishing experiences. Whether it’s helping a beginner land their first trout or working with experienced anglers to hunt trophy fish, he enjoys sharing the techniques, water knowledge, and appreciation for the outdoors that fly fishing has given him.
